Formed in 2004 and based in Blackpool, U.K., The Neon Trees have become one of the northwest's most popular unsigned bands.
Based around lead singer Joanna Byrne's mesmerizing songs, with an emphasis on excellent musicianship, The Neon Trees mix country, folk and alternative rock to produce a pure and unconciously refreshing sound.
The Neon Trees' energetic stage show coupled with some major Internet publicity (BoingBoing.Net, Business Week Online, Garageband - Track of the Day), has ensured a large and growing local and international audience for the band.
2006 has been a great year so far for the Trees seeing the release of their first major E.P. and an acoustic performance at the Cambridge Folk Festival.
