Bio

Culled from the furnaces of awesome, the award winning* alternative outfit from Philadelphia, The New Divide, have put forth a tireless effort to deliver upon the world a tour de’ force of face-melting rock so intense that the very Earth itself trembles with anticipation and desire in order to bear witness to the sonorous love making that has henceforth been dubbed by the masses: Music. Never in humanity’s dubious history had the fate of so many been inexplicably tied to the glorious sounds of so few.

With rocktitude levels running at an all-time high in late 2007, The New Divide booked studio time with Optimus Recordings in order to bring to mankind their initial demo, “The-Face-Eat-Foot Sessions.” While the mountains quaked and the oceans bubbled, the then-four piece news team of Matt Brydebell (drums), Ray Pine (vocals), Dan Soffer (bass), and Brian Shirley (guitar), spent two long days melding their souls with the firmament of being in order to unleash the apocalyptic fury of their creative energy onto one compact disc readily available to the public for free…if they contact us!

With spirits high, but the weight of amazing bearing down on them, The New Divide brought in TJ Schilling (guitar) in order to help bear the ponderous burden of carrying all of rockdom upon their shoulders and raise their level of great to the now-infamous heights of “majestic.” Now a completed five piece, TND have begun booking shows and are looking to reach as many people as possible while continuing to write and demo more material for their next magnum opus!

Clear the way planet Earth, a new Rock is in town!
