 Every
once in a while an unparalleled group arrives on the scene who leaves an
indelible impression!  Clearly, “The Flint Cavaliers” have done just
that! This power-packed quartet is
comprised of six anointed men, Craig
Johnson, Marcus Peterson, Randy Williams, Lonnie Clark, Pastor Ronnie Jones and
Pastor Lamarr Scales!
When this distinguished
quartet sings, they become instruments through which the intent of worship and
praise is fully recognized.

 Their
commanding vocal talent is at a level of brilliant achievement and magnificently
demonstrated on their recent project “Havin’ Church” on Lowrush Records.  This dynamic project features their debut
single “Same God.”  Audiences are notably elated by
their pitch which is flawless and the production of “Havin’ Church” is a
smorgasbord of musicality.

The
lyrics are masterfully approached and elegantly oriented.  The vocal talent on this project takes melody
and harmony in a new direction.  “Havin’
Church”
is an authentic masterpiece delivering refreshing infusions of
inspiration.  A dialogue is immediately
established with the melody and the lyrics.
Such profoundness affirms an uplifting and liberating factor to the
listening ear.  The sheer depth and
intensity of their stylistic diversity on the project raises the bar of
excellence.  The tone of their vocals results
in effortless singing with a personalized melodic/harmonic blend.

 The
“mark of excellence” is what the group delivers!  A quick glance at their discography is a
stunning manifestation of their excellence in production.  Their discography consists of “Live
In Concert,”
(1999), “The New Flint
Cavaliers”
(2003) and
“Reborn”
(2005).  Notably,
their first hit,
“Have You Ever Been Burdened,” was
well-received in numerous venues and was the “crowning conquest” of twenty-five
years of labor-intensive music production.

In 1999, their first project, “Live In Concert” charted #11 on “Billboard” for 52 weeks.  Accordingly, they received the distinct “Soul Train” nomination for Best Gospel
Recording
!  Following the tremendous
success of their first project, the group quickly released their second project
“The
New Flint Cavaliers.”
However, this
project was eventually successful despite overcoming many obstacles along its
path!

This
project is an authentic masterpiece which embodies a rich and glorious
anointing. The “Havin’ Church” project features various genres of gospel music
from contemporary flavored grooves to traditional, praise and worship.  You will have church as you listen to “Willing To Run, “Same God,” “Praise Him,”
“Call Him,” “I Appreciate,” “Havin’ Church,” “Time Ain’t Long,” “Rain,” “My
Hands,” “Going Up Yonder,”
and “Give Me Strength.”

The Flint Cavaliers’ list of credits is quite impressive and one needs only
to take a quick glance at their credits to appreciate the “Favor of God” upon them.

performances for legendary gospel artists such as Shirley Caesar, Karen Clark Sheard, Aretha Franklin, Albertina Walker,
