Mixing imposing and energetic drum lines, 'velvety smooth' bass lines, 'wall of sound' guitars both screeching and soaring at the same time, interwoven with soulful vocals that that can switch almost instantly from 'belting' to 'crooning' The New Heralds are delivering an audacious, new, and original sound that can only be summarized as 'Ambitious, Honest, Stadium Sized, Heart-on-Sleeve, Rock and Roll!'.
Forming in mid 2010, the members of The New Heralds bring a wealth of experience having graced some of Melbourne's most iconic musical landmarks including The Espy, The Chapel, Revolver Upstairs, Noise Bar, as well as Melbourne Town Hall, just to name a few. With influences ranging from Michael Jackson to U2, Muse to Jeff Buckley and The Red Hot Chili Peppers to The White Stripes, The New Heralds bring Pop Sensibility, Musical Integrity and Lyrical Sincerity to their studio recordings and engrossing live shows.
