The New Infidels first self-titled CD was released in May 2008.

Amanda Crowe is a singer/songwriter from Syracuse, New York. She was already getting tired of playing to half-full coffeehouses and disinterested bar crowds in that small city, and after a particularly poorly attended show, she called her brother, Jason to talk about it. He suggested that she move to a bigger city, and build a band around her sound. A few weeks later, Amanda moved to Columbus, Ohio and began playing with Jason, perfecting her sound and writing some songs together. Once they were ready, the duo added the versatile Lindsay Sumner of the folk duo Something from Oz who brought drums as well as proficiency in piano and other instruments to the mix. Now the trio have played a number of shows in Columbus and are refining their sound to take their band to the next level.
