Chico Martinez and Howard Eckstein joined brothers Josh and Brett Fisher in early 2011 to form The New Outliers. Based in Richmond, VA they are driven to independently produce a smooth alternative sound. The New Outliers produced their debut album entitled Tennessee at Richmond based Minimum Wage Recording in February 2012. Tennessee was digitally released in June 2012. One of the most unique characteristics of The New Outliers is that they don't settle for just one sound. They move from one end of the rock genre to the other producing classic rock sounds to alternative rock to improvised upbeat rhythms.
