The EP was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Stuart Badger (guitarist). The boys are currently working on writing/recording/mixing a new CD which should be released in October.

The New Unknown formed in August of 2003 and have been working their asses off to stand out in the sea of black t-shirt clad conformity dubbed "the scene." TNU's music has been described as progressive punk, compared to the likes of Rufio, Greenday, Yellowcard and Blink 182 but that's not all these boys play by any means. At live shows TNU has been known to play everything from rap and hip-hop to punk rock. Each band member brings their unique style and influences ranging from 311 to Montly Crue to NOFX.
May 15th marked the release of the appropriately entitled EP "Jump the Gun" and were welcomed by a sold out crowd at Tremont Music Hall. The boys are currently working on booking a tour and will be hitting the road at the end of August.
The New Unknown...remember the name, you WILL be hearing it again.
