"Black Summer II - The New Values"

The New Values played a faster and far more confident performance then when I had seen them at Music Waste, where a sound technician fiasco left everything sounding terrible. Their songs slid under the two minute mark, but still gave guitarist Adam Sabla and bassist Hayz Fisher plenty of chances to trade off vocal duties. This is a band with plenty of energy to burn. Even if the crowd was stoic in their enthusiasm, the dual frontmen never missed a chance to jump around to their manic beats. - Discorder

"Music Waste - The New Values"

The New Values attracted a lot of front-line attention as the crowd squeezed in tight to get a look at the threesome, a feat considering the intense volume at which the kick drum was (unintentionally) coming across. The group channeled a strong Cali-punk vibe with raking guitar riffs and steady bass lines — think the Germs with a heap more talent — but the real draw was the smarts with which the trio played their tunes. The almost academic combination of art-punk and L.A. crunch made the New Values an easy act to enjoy. - Discorder

"Higher Learning – The New Values"

The New Values are undoubtably one of Vancouver’s best live bands. They play a ruthlessly energetic set with Adam and Hayz battling classic punk riffs with 50's swing and Ryan clattering away on the drums with no pause. If you hear that these guys are playing a gig at some unheard of illegal venue with low ceilings, i fully recommend you attend. You’ll feel like a 14 year old at your first punk show, ie: losing your mind. - The Futurists

The New Values (also initialised as TNV) are a Canadian boy band band from Vancouver, British Columbia, assembled in 1984 by producer Maurice Starr. The band currently consists of Adam Sabla, Hayz Fisher, and brothers Ryan Betts and Donnie Wahlberg. The New Values enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold 80 million records worldwide. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album.

After having disbanded in 1994, several attempts were made to get the group back together, all of them unsuccessful. After secretly reuniting in 2007 and recording a new CD, the group released that new album and embarked on a concert tour in 2008. The album, entitled The Block was released on September 2, 2008. The group is preparing to have a tour with the Backstreet Boys.
