With the wave of new metal bands swarming the scene lately, The Nformals are a breath of fresh air. With Cameron's classic rock influences on drums, Nayshawn's Finger picking preference on bass, and Joshua's diverse array of musical inspiration on the subject of song writing; The Nformals make up a three piece band that aim to send a different message.

Old friends from high school, Cameron and Joshua have been working together musically for years. And with the more recent addition of Nayshawn Maddox on bass, The Nformals have finally found their sound. Tired of the typical hardcore music that has become the norm, these three set out to throw something different into the mix. With guitar riffs inspired by The Hives, The Vines, and The Strokes, Joshua wishes to transfer a happier, movement inducing feel with his song writing. Backed by a fierce rhythm section Joshua's chords are carried by Cameron's thunderous classical roots, and booming love for the floor tom. And as a lover of experimental music, Nayshawn's first thought when writing a bass riff is how to make it stand out.

Relatively new to the music scene, The Nformals are yearning to put on a great show that leaves the audience wanting more. Having played at venues such as Queen Bee's, Brick by Brick, and Lestats West, The Nformals and their alternative take on rock music are well fit for a variety of listeners.
