"Impacting Lives - Crazy Story"

This is a recent email We got from a fan on the East Coast. If my our day to know we have influenced someone that is so far away...

Subject: Hey guys, I love the music and have a great story about it.

Story:
Hey guys. I'm not sure if you believe in psychics but I went to one yesterday and it led me to finding your songs and music. My Brother passed away about 6 years ago and he came through at my psychic reading. It was not a cheap psychic on a boardwalk, rather one of the best on the east coast. My brother and I were extremly close and it was a very rough time in my life. Just as he did, I used music as a way to deal with things in a good healthy way, writing poems and songs, and listening to music that helped me through it. I'm sure you guys are very busy and I'll spare you the details of just how true this reading was (with her telling me only things that my brother and I knew.) But, she actually stopped the reading, made us find a computer and look up the name "Boone." His name was also Nick with i find to be a nice part of the story. Anyway she had me listen to the song Angels and without her or I ever hearing the song before stopped me and told me that the next line was how he felt. It made me feel so much emotion and happiness from that song that I could not thank you enough. As weird as it is a week before I just had two guadian angel tattoos done on my back and then i listened to this song and felt so much comfort from it. I'm sure you guys get a lot of fan mail, but this is different. I just felt compelled to write you and let you know that without you guys knowing you have helped someone find comfort, happiness, and a chance to move forward through your music. That's pretty awersome and I wanted to let you guys know because I'm thankful for that and for having the opportunity to listen to your music. Your effecting people all the way on the East Coast. If you guys ever play out here, you'll have a ton of friends and family to help sell out your show! haha - Thanks again, -Matt - Matt Novelli

"Music: Nick Boone"

"The Nick Boone Band seemed to be a major shift in gears for the evening. An obvious regular following in attendance, he has a warm stage persona and made a point of thanking me for coming, always a nice touch. His sound is strongly inspired by Dave Matthews. His "hit" song Colors of this Life channels Jack Johnson and is a welcome sound amidst the rock. I like, but he real show stopper was his lead guitarist Armen "George" Khachatourian with a commanding solo. A charming ending to the show was cupcakes for the crowd." - Brienna McWade - Pocket of Rocks Blog Post (A New Fan)

Bio

The Nick Boone Band is a Seattle based band that was formed in early 2009. In support of their debut album, "Colors", they have entered the Seattle music scene with a bang. Quickly gaining traction by playing around the NW at different venues, festivals, and events, the Nick Boone Band looks forward to the ablility to impact listeners from all walks of life in a positive light. Expect a full house wherever they play.

NICK BOONE (Vocals | Guitar)
A Colorado native, this singer/songwriter has found a home for his grooves in Seattle, WA. Tackling the songwriting, vocals, and rhythm guitar, Nick passionately leads this quartet towards a carreer in what they all love most, music.

ARMEN "GEORGE" KHACHATOURIAN (Lead Guitar)
All great bands have their lead guitar player. Aerosmith has Joe Perry, AC/DC has the one and only Angus, and The Nick Boone Band has "George". This mighty Armenian has Rock-N-Roll oozing from his finger tips in ways that can only be expressed through his amp.

THOM CATTS (Bass/12-String Guitar)
A rare breed in the music scene, this 12-string guitar player brings an element to the band found no where else. Working a bass line with one hand and a lead synth instrument with the other, it's nearly impossible not to stare at him while he works his magic.

STEVE HOPKINS (Drums)
Bringing the blues back into the band, Hopkins on the sticks rounds out this quartet with drumming that can only come from years of experience.

It has been stated that The Nick Boone Band's alluring grooves and catchy melodies deem themselves fit companions for their poignant lyrics. Their songs, never the same but always coming from a deep place inside them, seize the richness of life in a commonplace world.
