Bio

The Nightlife is comprised of five guys from the outskirts of Albany, NY. Our mission since our inception in 2004 has always been to make music we love, be as energetic as possible, and to have fun in the process. So far, we've stopped at nothing less.

Growing up in a thriving music scene is always ideal for young bands. Albany's music scene however, is anything BUT thriving. Despite this fact we've managed to survive and find our niche in a small, yet tight knit underground music scene.

This bio is starting to sound way too cliche, so lets get down to it already! Our undenying love for making and playing music, our live show, our good looks, and our love for meeting new people, are the intangibles that set us apart. The band is our ideal mix of "business and pleasure." We will all go on the record as saying, we will do WHATEVER it takes to bring this band as far as possible.

Our music is influenced by all types of artists, and hundreds of bands. However, the main influences that drive this band are family members. Over the past few years, three of us have all had deaths in our IMMEDIATE families. This kind of adversity often splits groups up. This is not the case for The Nightlife. Our individual tragedies have formed a bond between us, a safe haven of sorts, and an outlet for us all. Our two favorite places are on stage playing shows, or in the shed practicing. It is only here that we are all truly free. It is only here that one thing can stand above the rest. That one thing, of course, is music.

We live to make music and rock out as hard as we can. We have played the east coast extensively and have built a decent fan base by playing Warped Tour, and sharing the stage with national recording acts such as, Saves The Day, Gym Class Heroes, Cartel, Bowling for Soup, Aiden, Emery, Chiodos, Cobra Starship, Four Year Strong, and many many more. We're looking to take the music scene by storm this year and we will NOT go unheard of in 2008.
