Bio

New York City’s The Nillaz are the pioneers of a futuristic sound best described as Crunk Rock. Since their founding in 2003, The Nillaz have toured the nation on the Vans Warped Tours, The Virgin Mega Tour, and tore up showcases at CMJ and SxSW. Throughout their travels, they’ve shared the stage with world renowned acts including Fall Out Boy, Travie McCoy, KRS 1, My Chemical Romance, The Transplants, Run DMC, Spank Rock, Valiant Thor, Gogol Bordello, Joan Jett, and Billy Idol, while maintaining a local presence in New York City's Ghetto Metal Scene; performing with such acts as Bazaar Royale, Raye 6, and Game Rebellion.  Producing all of their own music, The Nillaz have also collaborated with producers Megahertz (Nas, Busta Rhymes,) U.F. Low (Si*Se,) and the late Disco D (50 Cent, Trick Daddy.)

Since their 2006 "Homewrecker" release, The Nillaz road to stardum has been a rocky one.  With label disputes, internal conflicts, and stints in rehab for alcohol and drug abuse, worthy of "VH1's Behind The Music".  Through the dark times, the band emerges with the 2011 self-titled album, The Nillaz...12 tracks of fire, no filler released on The Orchard. Laying down the gauntlet with “It Is What It Is”, The Nillaz take you on a slow ride through the struggles of an artist in distress....take a hit, sit back and enjoy
