The Nixon Rodeo is a hard rock band from Spokane, WA. With a combination of all things rock, The Nixon Rodeo has a unique sound that is original yet familiar. Formed in May of 2010, The Nixon Rodeo strived to combine all the styles of music that got them into music in the first place, from rock, metal, punk, pop, thrash and more. With catchy hooks and melodies that refuse to get out of your head, The Nixon Rodeo still manages to release driving beats and heavy punches. It is impossible for anyone to attend a Nixon Rodeo show and not feel the power and intensity that the band and crowd feeds off of and hear the roar of hundreds shouting ‘Rodeo, Rodeo, Rodeo’.
The Nixon Rodeo released their debut album ‘Made To Bleed’ in February 2011. The album was greeted with raves reviews and with the band even turning a profit after all costs immediately after their album release shows. Ernie Ball selected The Nixon Rodeo out of hundreds of bands to be their selected band for the Northwest area to play on the 2012 Uproar Festival. The Nixon Rodeo is currently in studio with Amplified Wax Recording Studios in Spokane, WA to record their second album. Looking to produce and release an even more evolved sound, The Nixon Rodeo only continues to gain momentum.
The Nixon Rodeo has been honored to share the stage with bands like Godsmack, Shinedown, Staind, Static-X, Adelita’s Way, POD, Trapt, Middle Class Rut, Unwritten Law, Hawthorne Heights, Spineshank, Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Thousand Foot Krutch, Avatar, Candlelight Red, Winds of Plague, The Browning, Davey Suicide, Attika, Madlife, The Sammus Theory, Acidic, The Action Blast and many more.
Founding member and front man Brent Forsyth plays rhythm guitar and sings lead vocals and is always pushing the band to keep its originality and a sound that hooks the listener instantly. Ethan Harrison, the band’s drummer and backing vocalist who combines aggression and entertainment into each performance determined to put on the best rock show you’ve ever been a part of. Josh Crites is the lead guitarist that has brought the band is talent of speed and precision in his guitar playing and solos that will bring the nostalgia back to rock and roll. Travis Singleton is The Nixon Rodeo’s bassist and talented in many instruments, originally a proficient drummer, who brings his experience and song arranging skills to all aspects of The Nixon Rodeo’s song writing.
