Bio
THE NOBIS is an electronica band from Japan. Formed in 2006, they started playing regularly at the rave parties in the deep forest of Japan where they experience the dance culture which later became their fundamental foundation of their music. In 2008, when they posted their music on MySpace, they were heard by a PR director of the Italian fashion brand DIESEL who were looking for a band to play at their 20th anniversary parties. In 2011 March, a promoter living in NY who listened to their music on the indie radio station, booked The Nobis to play at Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C, USA. Which at the time, they were evacuating from their home effected by the Fukushima nuclear reactors disaster.
Currently on "Anti-Nuclear Tour" through Canada and U.S.A, playing live shows, writing & building new songs at their mobile recording studio fitted in their suit case along with their guitar and synthesizer.
