Consisting of Davin Burlingham (Vocals/piano/guitar), Mike Nicholaichuk (bass), Kurt Touet (drums), and Sayde Black (Vocals), this band has evolved a lot since 2004. And these days, with Black's smoky country-soul vocals pushing the band to different levels, the act formally known as Jasper Ave. seems to be really hitting its stride. Having honed their rockin' sound at venues across town (whiel also moonlighting in small towns throughout the prairies) this talented four piece puts on smooth, energetic, and entertaining performances. Formed from the hot ashes of Jasper Ave, The Noble Liars formed in 2008 when Davin Burlingham returned to Saskatoon to settle with his new family. The band began rehearsing regularly and writing anew. Within the first year, The Noble Liars had written and arranged a new self-titled release The Noble Liars. The album was recorded locally at Starlab Recording in Saskatoon. In the years following the effort, The Noble Liars met up with and collaborated with Sayde Black, a Saskatchewan based singer/songwriter. Sayde continues to perform and write with the band and will be featured on a new album currently being recorded at Avenue Recording Saskatoon. The Noble Liars love performing live to anyone, anywhere. They are currently gigging in the Saskatoon scene and moon lighting at small towns throughout the prairies. They keep their skills sharp by performing regularly at local open stages. The Noble Liars exist only to write and perform great original music. They hope you enjoy it as much as they do!
