The Oblik formed in the summer of 2008, bringing together longtime friends for new musical adventures. They quickly released their first 4 song EP in January of 2009. This EP marks the first evolution of The Oblik’s sound. This five piece featuring 3 guitars, bass and drums cultivates a unique wall of sound sure to catch the likes of any post-punk or shoe-gaze loving fan. They create songs that inject a pop sensibility with dark, noisy guitars which are sure to not disappoint in their live performances. The Oblik is currently recording their second EP due to be released this summer.
