The Occupation is an up and coming Seattle-based indie rock band. Formed in 2008 and consisting of members from several successful N.W. bands (Ordinary State, Stereodrive, Fight For Change), The Occupation is a proverbial melting pot of friendship, love, laughter, and unabashed anthemic rock. Bodly combining elements of Classic Rock and modern Pop The Occupation is reminiscent of bands such as U2, The Arcade Fire, and Depeche Mode who charged their own path, and followed their hearts to find a unique sound, all their own. To record their upcoming "Sweet Falcon" E.P., The Occupation boys worked with Cam Nicklaus and Stuart Hallerman at Avast! studios in Seattle, WA. Armed with soaring melodies, smart lyrics and a passion to connect with their audience, this is a band ready to wage war against the status quo.
