The Official Story is a rock band influenced by Maroon 5, Gino Vannelli, Tower of Power and Michael Jackson. The band formed in 2009 by songwriting brothers and producers Diego Garcia and Alex Garcia. With the addition of core member and songwriter Kyle St. John, the band took the next step and recorded its debut album, due to be released May 2011. The album features a new single "Gonna Go Blind", showcasing a young hip hop artist Josh Hales from the Reggae community and a hit single "Reachin' For Your Love".
