Bio

In today's cynical age, often times people choose not to believe in God or a "Higher Power" unless they see some sort of proof. A miracle if you will. However, what they fail to realize is that there are miracles all around us everyday. One of those miracles goes by the name of Troy. Born as a product of a broken home, his mother tried to raise him the best she could. Growing up he would come to be exposed to gangs, drugs and a violent life of crime. Troy spent most of his teenage years incarcerated in various youth facilities. It was here that he found his passion for writing poetry and rapping amongst his peers. After being released from California Youth Authority at the age of 19, Troy began his journey into the world of hip-hop. A struggling artist who chose to sell drugs to support is musical pursuit, he soon started to gain popularity among the West Coast rap scene. Amidst all the glamor and glitz, the women, the drugs, the lifestyle... He began to grow tired of it all together.

Then, in the summer of 2005, after being released from Los Angeles County Jail on possession with intent to sell charges, God radically changed the life of this young artist.
Focusing on his relationship with Jesus Christ, Troy decided, in obedience, to put the music down until God revealed that it was time to pick it up again and do it for Him. In 2009, God spoke... "Now is the time to ARISE!".

Since then, Troy has been focused on serving God through his gifts and musical talents. He has performed at numerous events and outreaches, focusing on a generation of lost youth who need the Truth now, more then ever. Straying away from the idolatry of hip-hop, Troy intends to use this media outlet to glorify God to the fullest by witnessing and ministering to all who have ears to hear. Simply put, "I'm here to take back what the devil has been stealing throughout the years of Hip-Hop's existence. Giving it back to the Creator of all things. Glory to God".
