"If you’re looking for a new, up and coming pop punk band that doesn’t sound like all the rest, listen to The Offseason NOW." - Reed Dahms
"[Pride & Progress/Goin' For Broke] is full of infectiously raw and upbeat emotion."
Band of the Week: April 2012 - Mario Parra
"If you are a fan of the new wave of pop-punk, including Fireworks and The Swellers, then The Offseason will become a staple in your playlists." - Casey Whitman
The Offseason are a force to be reckoned with in this scene. - FYPP
"If you are looking for super slick, catchy and fast punk rock you can look no further than The Offseason. The melodies on the record are catchy and hard to forget." - Brooklyn Underground
"I'd be interested to see what happens to this band. It isn't easy being a DIY band and self-releasing your work, but I really want to hear more stuff where "Fifteen Minutes of Lame" came from. It's the kind of song that makes you want to make some girl a mixtape, makes you want to go bro-hug some bro at a pop punk show, or makes you want to do a cartwheel or something." - Thomas Nassiff

Bio
The Offseason is a four piece pop-punk band from Boston, MA that was started in late 2010. The band recorded a five song EP with Mike Poorman (Hot Rod Circuit) which was met with much acclaim, earning the band opening slots for the likes of Transit (Rise Records) and With the Punches (Doghouse Records).
The Offseason's work ethic and catchy brand of pop-punk didn't go unnoticed as they were soon signed by Ann-Arbor, MI's Barrett Records (Transit, The Story So Far). The summer of 2011 was spent producing and recording four new tracks with friend and producer Jay Maas (Defeater, Have Heart).
Soon after, the band combined their previous release with the new Maas material for "Pride & Progress / Goin' For Broke" released October 11th, 2011 via Barrett Records. A mix of excellent songwriting, melodic sensibility, pedigree, and scene-staple support have earned The Offseason a spot among other Massachusetts' best bands to watch.
