Nominated for best live act at the Scottish Alternative Music awards 2013, The OK Social Club - Raff, Chris, Gordy and Jordan have only been playing together since summer 2011 but are fast becoming one of the hottest young bands to appear from Edinburgh’s underground music scene.

They have a massive mix of influences from 50's and 60's girl groups to 70's punk Rock and Roll, it's edgy, melodic and Doesn't take itself too seriously much like the 4 band members who met while playing on the same bill in Stirling in two different bands.

Their first two singles 'The Shape of Things to Come' and 'The Late 90's' were released on Platform Records and featured on various TV and Radio shows including: MTV Rocks, The Sunday Brunch playlist on Channel 4, Hollyoaks, E4 and Sky Sports-Soccer AM as well as being record of the month on BBC's The Janice Forsyth show and Steve Lamacq's Rebel playlist winner on BBC Radio 6.

In November 2012 it was announced that The OK Social Club were playing Edinburgh Hogmanay 2012/2013 alongside The Maccabees, The View, Reverend and The Makers and Headliners Simple Minds.
