The Omaha System began as a studio project and songwriting vehicle for Ryan Bryant in 2007, resulting in a quick summer recording session among friends that developed into a collaborative experiment with a unique style of alternative rock by 2009. Thematically fueled by heartbreak and societal frustrations, The Omaha System presents an original take on alternative rock, mixing soaring vocals with crushing guitars and technical drumming. The band's influences range from the emotive goth rock of the 80s, to the heavier, contemplative rock of the early 90s, to modern indie music, creating a standout sound and perspective.
