The One and Only Bill Davis

What is The One And Only Bill Davis’ sound? It’s a culmination of things. Bill was born and raised in Manitowoc, WI. He was forced into piano for eight years before commuting his sentence to guitar when he was fifteen. Only after graduating with a film degree from Columbia College Chicago, did he discover how large a part music played in his life, and how much larger a part he wanted it to play. Opportunity knocked and Bill moved to Vail, CO, where he bought a PA, learned a couple of hundred songs, and started playing live on a regular basis. During his time in Vail, he briefly moved to Austin, TX, where he concentrated on composing his own melodies and lyrics before returning to Colorado. After another year in Vail, wanderlust took hold and brought Bill through Nashville, TN. Before he knew it, he had a job and a place to live in Nashville. Since then, he has refined his sound and made the most of the opportunities in front of him. His latest release, Once Upon a Time, in Nashville..., was recorded at historic RCA Studio B, mixed at world famous Ocean Way Studios, and pressed to vinyl by his loyal fans. Bill has had many musical influences over the years, but he attributes his timeless sound to his love of The Oldies. Bill is not a fan of using styling products in his hair.
