Our singles, "Medicine Man", "Dream Picture", & "Broken Soldiers". have been passed throughout northern Arkansas, Southern Missouri, and Western Mississippi & Tennessee. Recieving radio play in Arkansas and on the internet. And, "Hard Life, Living Strange" will be on an up coming television show for choppers and street bikes in Springfield, MO.

Bio
An Alternative, Folk Rock, Blues based band from Northeast, AR. The band started as a duo (Kane & Kemp) about four years ago writing songs that would sound like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Mick Jagger in one roughly combined unique voice, playing blues-ey acoustic "Alice in Chains" type of music with "Widespread Panic" long freestyle jams. We played at house parties throughout North, AR; Southern, MO; and Western, KY. Along with some acoustic unplugged performances at different clubs & bars. But like many other rookie bands lacking the knowledge of knowing how to move our music forward. We toughed it out until the hard times got the best of us. So we started working on the tow boats pushing barges up and down the Mississippi River. Fortunately, we were able to work on the same river boat. So we spent alot of time writing songs together and sharpening our craft. A couple of years later Michael MoDean's heavy metal Kansas City based band, "Alpha Bloom", had broken up, and he was out to find something back to his roots. We all got together and formed "The Orange Stone", and from then on have been playing shows from Kansas City to Little Rock to Memphis. With our own PA system and all the instruments a van could carry we were able to play bigger and better shows gathering around a hundred or so fans and new comers to first time gigs and new areas with just the bare minimum of advertising and promoting.
With the support of financially comfortable fans & citizens of our communities and some different businesses and radio stations, it is our responsibility to play more shows in more areas to get our music to you.
Our catchy life-lesson tales and stories from "Medicine Man" and "Dream Picture" to the up beat, seductive, love and pain songs, "Broken Soldiers" and "Be Real" has made The Orange Stone capable of new boundaries and many, many more fans.
