Founding member of such award winning Texas bands as Coupe De Ville, The Nomads, and Asylum Street Spankers. Also a ten year member of The Guy Forsyth Band. Snakeboy won first place at the National Slide Guitar Festival in 2000.
Snakeboy performs solo and with his band headlining at concerts and festivals around the world, including The Waterfront Blues Fest in Portland, Or., Ingolstadt Blues Fest in Germany, FIMU Festival in Belfort France, The Dobrofest in Slovakia, and many others in Belgium, Holland, The Netherlands, France, Germany, and the USA.
Snakeboy is currently receiving radio airplay in nine countries around the world.
Influences such as Son House, Robert Johnson, and Muddy Waters, are apparent in his searing solo slide guitar mastery. Winning him "5 Star" reviews from folks like Guitar World Magazine (USA), Blues Matters (UK), Back To The Roots (Belgium), and many others.
The fine folks at National Reso-Phonic Guitars not only custom built a National Style One Tricone for Snakeboy, but they were proud to include an original composition of his on their "Artists in Resonance" CD release.
Growing up in New Orleans was a major musical influence on this Southern boy. That second line funk is clearly recognized in his unique arrangements for Snakeboy's Viper Band. If you can't dance to this, ... you just can't dance!
