Bio
" With The Name Comes Pressure "
On March 28,1973, Tony Bennett was born in
Camden, NJ to Beverly Jean Bennett and the late
Matthew Frederick Bennett, Growing up in the poorest
and most impoverished city in The US, he made it out
and alive and well. This place was also one of the most
dangerous to live. Tony was able to overcome some of
these issues and even attended Camden County
College in Blackwood, NJ where he attended 1.5
years, majoring in Liberal Arts and Sciences /
Communications before transferring to The Art
Institute of Philadelphia for 2 years, majoring in The
Music & Video Business, and receiving an A.A.
Degree in 1997. Tony was trained by well known
Philadelphia Entertainment Lawyer Bernie Resnick
and also took course with well known industry people
like Jim Ghallagher, Dee Wellmon, Pat Mc'Grath,Don
Camera, Ted Basmajian, and Joe Krause just to name
a few. Tony has very dynamic and transparent vocal
range and has been dubbed " Little Lutha" by some
friends for his Sultry Tenor. His voice ranges from mid
to deep Tenor with some inflections of baritone. His
voice can also get up to a high falsetto at times. On
The Pop side, he has performed in many Philadelphia
Karaoke bars and piano bars where he's known well
locally. Tony has been holding back too long and as of
June of 2011, It's Finally time to unleash. You will notice
that his originals sound much different than his covers
which shows his versatility ! Stand Up And Enjoy The
Ride !
