"Masterscore Music"

"Theo's sound is a cool, old-school rap, bringing conviction and meaning to themes from Christian women to our search for greatness, and our fight against the devil. This is quality stuff, and I see great things for this young man!" - Eric Copeland, Creative Soul - Eric Copelend

"GOSPEL FLAVA"

" Hot tracks, Distinctive flow. Looking Forward To Sept 2004." - STAN NORTH

"FM 98 WJLB Detroit"

Those who think the words "holy" and "hip hop" don't belong together might try Virtuous Women out since it carries the Word, but it also has the urban sound many in my audience prefer. The responses to the song have been very positive. They included a very positive email from a local NAACP Youth Group member who said the song helped one young lady change her perception of who she could be. The group now plays the song before their meetings to remind both the male and female members of what Christian womanhood entails. Great work!

Bio

Theo Tucker has been singing and performing in church since the early age of eight. Until the age of 17, Theo had never rapped in his life. He was known throughout his high school, however, as an excellent writer and a human "beat box", always providing on-the-spot beats and rhythms for
the local rappers. It wasn't until he heard the single "I Am", by the Cross Movement, one of gospels' hottest hip-hop artists, that God revealed to him that he had a gift for doing this. After rapping over several Cross Movement and Gospel Gangsta songs, he began to write his own material. Many of his first songs weren't very good; after all, he had never rapped, let alone wrote raps. Then, in May of 1999, he wrote a song called "Who Are You With?"
The song was an instant hit at his church, Christian Tabernacle Church in Southfield, MI, but he never recorded it! When asked why, Theo simply said,
"I was never thinking about making CD's or anything like that, I just wanted to rap for God, and hopefully impact someone's life that heard me."

Unknowingly to Theo, that's exactly what God had in mind. One of Theo's favorite scriptures is Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." And so God began to allow everything to come together for Theo's rap career. As he continued to write and perform at church, he had started to get an uncontrollable desire to let his words be heard outside the walls of his own church. Realizing that God put an anointed message within his lyrics, Theo began to actively pursue a record deal. Things were moving slow, but Theo just continued to read his Word, pray, and write.

Then it happened. On December 7th, at the Millennium Theatre in Southfield, MI, Theo was blessed with the opportunity to minister to a crowd of 200 youth during a God's Army concert. Although his spot was only 10 minutes long, it made a lasting impression, and people began to ask about him. Deals began to surface, and on March 4th, 2004, he signed with U.G.M.A.C. Music Group, Inc.(Under God's Management And Control), and now currently recording his debut album, slated for
release in September 2004.

Many people, inside and outside of the industry, are referring to Theo as "one of the best in game, new or old", and some even consider him" A breath of fresh air, in these difficult and trying times." Bill Moss Jr., a noted musician in the gospel industry and brother of PAJAM super-producer J. Moss, said, "Theo is one of the most creative people I know, an extremely talented artist, that is sure to be a hit within and outside of the gospel industry."

When asked about the kind of reaction he wanted towards his album, Theo said this:
"I don't care if I get attention or not. I simply want God's message to be heard by as many people as possible, saved or not. I have been given a word
that will inspire, deliver, motivate and restore, that will bring families back together, that will touch the heart of the pimp, the prostitute, the abusive husband the broken down woman or man, all situations. I know that once this album is released, people both young and old, will be drawn to
it's sincerity and it's genuineness, as well as it's only purpose, which is to lift up the name of Jesus and get people to know that God loves them, no
matter what."
