The best kept secret in music
Press
Connect the dots separating synth, pop, punk, and classic rock and what it shapes into is The Outline. Unapologetically infectious like that cold that makes its way around school when the seasons change, almost nobody can resist these adolescent musicians and the music they make. - Eye Opener Webzine
Discography
We've recorded three Ep's in the past year and a half, titled unimaginatively 1, 2, and 3. We've gotten airplay on KLOS 95.5, and Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles.

Bio
The Outline formed in early 2003 in the big city of Los Angeles. They are not a part of any hip subculture or buzzing scene. They don’t fraternize with the wannabe Maxim-centerfold actresses. You won’t find them logged into emo-dating chat rooms searching for horn-rimmed, miniskirted maidens.. And, if they weren’t the ones playing onstage, they wouldn’t stand a chance getting through the front door with their Alvarado Street-fabricated I.D.’s. All they know is that their raw talent will take them well beyond that door or that latest hipster clique. If they continue to play their own style of unabashedly impassioned and brisk indie rock, then the kids will follow. The Outline are truly inspired. Lay down power-pop chord here, back it with slithering bass line and herky-jerky drum beat, then cut it with some synthetic jazz piano cum classic rock jam that propels the tune into something completely unexpected. Yet, still familiar. Thank you for listening.
