The Peelers
Considering how long it’s been automatic for DJs, it’s remarkable how long it took cover bands to catch on to the mash-up concept. The Peelers were, in fact, the first ones we heard doing it, and according to our readers, they’re still the best. Whether it’s layering T.I. raps over Tim McGraw or sliding from ’80s pop to hip-hop, the Peelers are monster mashers.

LAS VEGAS – After a nationwide search, Station Casinos is proud to welcome The Peelers to the Saturday night entertainment lineup at Red Rock Resort. Combining the performance energy of a live band with the versatility of a DJ, The Peelers will premiere at Rocks Lounge inside Red Rock Resort on Saturday, July 21.
The Peelers are not your typical cover band. Recognized for elevating the live band experience to new levels, The Peelers turn the cover band repertoire upside down by creating unique non-stop mash-ups of the latest radio hits with classic songs from all genres. The Peelers blend the tracks of your life like a giant margarita; distill only the best parts like a fine tequila and then pour them on top of each other so you never have a chance to leave the dance floor.
“After an exhaustive nationwide search to find the next big band to hit Vegas, we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome a band with the talent and distinctiveness of The Peelers to the Station Casinos family,” said Station Casinos’ Vice President of Entertainment Judy Alberti. “We’ve been seeking out and growing top talent in the Las Vegas market for more than 15 years now and this is a band unlike any other. They will be a perfect addition to our unmatched entertainment lineup.”
The Peelers will perform every Saturday night at Rocks Lounge inside Red Rock Resort. Doors open at 10 p.m. and the band will start at 11 p.m. The show is open to adults 21 years or older and there is no cost for admission. “So…what kind of band do we want to be?” is the question we asked ourselves...
The Peelers, like every other band, started by asking this question. They certainly knew what kind of band they didn’t want to be. You know the one: same thirty songs, night after night, wedding after wedding - over-played to the point of becoming background noise. And The Peelers certainly didn’t want to pigeonhole themselves as “That 70’s Band!” or “Those Modern Rock Guys!”.
The Peelers wanted to sound like the best moments of their lives – the school dances, 4th of July barbeques, that crazy road-trip, that messy weekend in Vegas, that crazy messy road-trip that ended in Vegas!
