The Perfect Gentleman

In 2009 local musician of Manalapan, New Jersey and lead singer/lyricist Matt Manisero teamed up with ex-front man of Someday Never Doug Leibowitz to begin exploring ideas and writing for a future album. What started out as a small project had slowly warped into some of the most innovative pop music and witty lyrics either of the two had ever developed. As Matt picked up his pen and scribbled down the words, “I’ll be your perfect gentleman, even when the lights are dim,” a light flickered in his head. He knew this would be the name of his band that would ultimately revolutionize pop music forever. He would become The Perfect Gentleman. With an experienced musician and producer such as Doug Leibowitz, it was only a matter of time before finding the missing links to a complete band. After recording a handful of songs and testing them out to critics, many talented artists were drawn in by the music, in hopes they could become part of the project as a member of the band. Eventually, Josh Craig, ex drummer of Can You Keep A Secret, was happily chosen to join in, eager to become the drummer of The Perfect Gentleman. Now only missing a bassist, one quick phone call would put the final touches to the team. Steve Sosnin, a good friend, was all that was required to complete the quartette. With their debut EP “Live To Love” being released April 8th of 2010, The Perfect Gentleman are excited and prepared to bring everything they've got and show the world their style of music. With a resilient work ethic and undying passion for music, there is no stopping these guys. Utilizing their talent and creativity as individual artists and collaborating together as one, they are surely moving in only one direction, to the top. Look out for The Perfect Gentleman, for these guys will be sure to captivate audiences all over the US for years to come.

The Perfect Gentleman consists of members with just about a lifetime of music experience who has played shows with big named bands such as Yellowcard, All Time Low, Just Surrender, Bedlight For Blue Eyes, Envy On The Coast, The Maine, Metrostation, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls, Houston Calls, The Morning Of, Socratic, A Love Like Pi, etc. As well as big shows such as warped tour, main stage at Bamboozle, they’ve also done full US tours establishing themselves as a staple in the Jersey music community.
