East Coast area natives Tim Phillips [music] and Ric Peters [voice] are no strangers to collaborating together. Honing in on their respective crafts side by side in previous bands throughout the last decade, the latest incarnation proves to be capable of producing not only catchy hooks that propel stars to one hit wonder status every day, but the substance that creates a lasting impression.
Both children of the 80's new wave and alternative scenes, The Perfects are in their natural element, crafting tunes inspired by the greats of the era such as Duran Duran and The Cure, with a touch of what good has emerged out of the music scene since that time. The end result is a concoction that is neither dated nor doused in cheap knock-off's of their idols of yesteryear.
The Perfects find themselves in the company of mixer/engineer/producer Nic Hard, a rising star in his own right whose latest accolades include The Bravery's gold self-titled major label debut. Rounding out the team is Wayne Crowther contributing guitar to various tracks.
The end result will be the debut self-titled EP, set to surface in summer 2006
