The Personals are for people people who like rock & roll, punk, the '80s, powerpop, the indie sensibility and, yes, general drunken madness. Adam White has been writing and performing kickass songs of love and other ill-advised activities since his teenage years in Wisconsin. Now he and his deranged bandmates rule the stages of Austin, Texas, bringing their love of rock & roll -- especially the Replacements, Guided By Voices, Cheap Trick, and Husker Du -- to their devoted fans. Ask anyone what sets The Personals apart from the hundreds of other bands in the "Live Music Capital of the World" and the answer is ENERGY. No one loves rock & roll like The Personals and no one brings it to the audience like they do, whether that means running off stage to play guitar in the crowd or audience members being moved to jump up to mic to sing along on a Guided By Voices cover. You never know what you'll see at The Personals' shows, but you know you'll be talking about it tomorrow! They're slated to open several shows for Curt Kirkwood and the Meat Puppets in August and September. With a debut album due this fall, The Personals are a band on the rise and a band with a mission.
