Bio
We are 4 friends since high-school, even earlier for some of us. In 9th grade we all wanted to start a band, but there was only one problem... only Sean could play an instrument! Well, after years of learning and practice everyone contributes a great deal to the music and we have a chemistry that is rare. The death of Rick's mother last year has influenced the music alot as well, especially the lyrics which are heartfelt and strong.
The Philistines are an upstart band out of NOVA and are ready to rock. After releasing "Sin Eater" in 2009 they have now recorded a new EP fresh out of the studio. The Philistines regularly gig in the Washington DC area and put on a great show. Don't miss an opportunity to see a truly unique band.
