The Phoenix Bridge

1 in every 3,428 bands actually make it out of their hometowns. This means,that in every 3,428 bands only one will get opportunity to make it big…and you just found your 1. Fresh out of the Lehigh Valley and new onto the Philly music scene comes The Phoenix Bridge (TPB): a nu-grunge, all-American rock band combining the classic grunge movement with new-age alternative music.

            Following the success of their first album “My Eyes Are Open” with hits like “Embryonic,” “The Seven Veils,” and “Gun Shy” TPB released their follow up EP, “Dust.” With this success, TPB began to perform on stages like Milkboy, Reverb, World Café Live, even Legendary Dobbs where they played on the same stage as some of their idols: Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Tool.  Their summer tour has produced numerous successful shows where they opened for bands like Sucker, Born Cages, Val de Val, and Nine Days.

The Phoenix Bridge thrives on pushing the envelope and (in true TPB fashion) has taken the control room by storm. New from TPB is their first studio produced album: Kingdom of the Sun featuring their brand new single and B-side: “Autopilot / Street Messiah.” With Kingdom of the Sun tour kicking off on October 30th, opening for “The Misfits” TPB proves that Rock and Roll is here to stay…and so are they.

THE PHOENIX BRIDGE is a local musical innovation made up of Patrick Leaver (Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Matthew Leaver (Drums/Backing Vocals), Chris Boschi (Bass), and Brain Kibler (Guitar/Backing Vocals). Redefining and reclaiming the rock genre as one all their own; they’re calling it “Crash-Rock” : crazy, dirty, elegant…Rock and Roll.
