The Pink Pajamas

The synergism in The Pink Pajamas is something unheard of. Alaia D’Alessandro’s Bowie-infused melodies combine with Devin Wear’s bluesy-punk guitar playing and create a blend between pop sensibility, punk energy, and classical fancies. The effect is carried out with a seemingly dangerous merge between drummer Zander Yates’s cathartic energy and technical masterminds Isaac McDonald and Alan Ismach’s respective bass and piano parts, and finally the quintet as a whole creates peace in the gutsy classical musician’s war against pop tunes.
