I saw you a year ago at the Whitewater battle of the bands 3, I think it was 3... I thought you guys were the best band there that night! I'm a musician myself and I'm THE most critical guy when it comes to music, and you guys rock! It takes a lot for me to say that. And I just saw you last Friday at O'Cayz Coral. Let me just say, I've been there, and played there a bunch of times, and I've never seen a band captivate an audience like you guys did.

"Saw It Comin'"
Love love love this song!!!!! It's a smash! Funky grooves and killer playing. Home run.
"Dangerous"
I like the overall vibe, on this one, especially the arrangement, and the bouyant chorus. Another strong song.
"Heaven's Road"
Playing on this one rocks, and the chorus is very Memorable and infectious. Ending evokes "Hey Jude" type sing alone - cool!

Here's a quickie scoop on who we are and what we're doing;
WHO --- The Pipe Circus is a five piece band (guitar/vocal, guitar/sax, percussion/vocal, drum/backing vocal, and bass/backing vocal) that's been together since early 1997.
SOUND --- The Pipe Circus sound may be considered a blend of FUNK/PUNK/REGGAE/ROCK with a splash of jazz. However, it is the tight grooves and great arrangements that set TPC a part from the norm.
MEDIA AND TOURING --- The Pipe Circus has made appearances on the Jenny Jones Show in April 2001 and countless local TV and radio stations all over the Midwest and the country. The Pipe Circus has had multiple songs in the top 5 on Garageband.com and the WI college charts. The band has toured 13 states and is planning a tour of colleges across the country in the fall. TPC is also headlining at the areas premier music venues including The Milwaukee Ale House, Luther’s Blues, The Annex, The Rave (opening for The Big Wu, Particle, etc), and more. The group typically draws crowds of 200 people or more at any of these venues. The Pipe Circus has played about thirty or so different festivals around the Midwest, including some of the biggest such as Milwaukee's famed Summerfest in 2001, 2002, 2003, and on July 4, 2004. The Pipe Circus showcased at The MECA Music Conference and Festival in Chicago on May 12 at Goose Island. The band also recently played on the UW Whitewater campus for MTV's Campus Invasion tour with Hoobastank on Thursday, April 29.
DISCOGRAPHY --- The Pipe Circus, LLC has got three CD's that we've sold at shows, at local stores, and online at CD Baby. The band sold about 5500 units total since 1998, most of them from the year 2000 to the present. TPC's latest; "Soul Graffiti". In 2009, The Pipe Circus will be releasing a new CD, "ROOTS". Watch for it!
AWARDS --- The Pipe Circus won the 2003 WAMI Award (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) for best R&B Act, was nominated for Album of the Year, and performed at the 2003 WAMI ceremony. TPC was also nominated in 2002 and in 2004 as well for best R&B act. Singer/guitarist/songwriter, Patrick Peterson has been a finalist in The Unisong National Songwriting Contest in both years entered (out of 5000 worldwide entries each year).
