Bio

The Plaid Tongued Devils have been together 16 years, made 5 albums, toured Europe 4 times, and Canada several times. Headlined over 30 festivals, played over 50 festivals, and over 100 clubs. Crowds from 20 to 20 thousand people.

Our music is influenced by Eastern European gypsy music and klezmer (traditional Jewish music). we combine it with rock, pop, reggae, punk and jazz. We do have our own "sound". The guitarist has a very unique style. The singer actually sings in key and has horns for hair! The drummer is one of the best you'll ever see. He even does solos! Remember those? And the violinist is a classicaly trained savant that you will NEVER forget. If he's not one of the best you've ever seen, we'll make you dinner.

We've been called "The thinking man's party band".
