* In April of 2005, Performed at the biggest pow-wow in the world, on the Reach The Rez stage.
* Released In June of 2005, The Plateros "Get It Right" an EP Album recorded LIVE at a Recording Studio.
* July 2005 Released a 20 min DVD Video Recorded live at The Gathering Of Nations 2005.
* Shared the stage with the National Recording Group "Salvador" in the summer of 2005. In Oklahoma.

In 1975, Murphy began his musical journey with his father, a minister of the Gospel. ( Chester B Platero ) at the age of 12 years old, Murphy help his fathers group, singing and playin' accross the Navajo Nation..In 1984 he married and continue his musical journey with his wife ( Janice ), and in 1992, they had a second child, and named him Levi Mitchell, and he grew up with his older sister Jessica watching and listenin' to music all of their young lives, Levi at the age of 8 years old started to help his parents by playin' drums at first and then move to guitar, and it was clearly noted by his parents that he had been given a gift, to play guitar and compose on his own, In the winter of 2004, Levi and his older cousin Doug would set up, and practice for hours and one day Murphy heard them playin' and sat in with them, just to see what they've learn.. Hours later he walk out with amazement, The young boys had grown in a matter of a short time as musicians, so they continue to press Murphy into practicing and learning more songs, and so THE PLATEROS was formed..Jan 2005 was the first time they played together and the audience was in awe..and they(The Plateros) enjoyed it so much that they made plans to release a rough demo of the Blues music that they play..and the invitations came in, and every place that they have performed they leave people with a feeling of "restored energy" as one women stated..They have played in so many events, The Platero enjoy what they do, and want to show that music is a gift of God, any Music... Have they been given a mission? only God knows, and only time will tell...
