The Plodders – a musical creation to stand the test of time. A band of professional, classically trained musicians; The Plodders breaks stereotypes and skillfully intertwines classical and pop music. They are an antidote to the homogeneous commercialism in the world of music.
In early 2012, these virtuosos decided to form a musical revolution and create a new quality in the Polish and international music stages. They created an extraordinary metamorphosis of string instruments in which the violin (Jacek Dzwonowski, Wojtek Wojtkowiak, Maciej Afanasjew) assumes the role of guitar, and cello (Greg Stanienda) takes on the bass jams. Marta Swiatek’s charismatic vocals give power to the innovative sound and Darek Goli’s funky percussions bring a full-fledged energy.
The Plodders bring a brand new quality and look to classical instruments in a very skillful way by adapting to what is known from the past to the present. Overflowing with feeling and passion for their instruments of turning emotions into sounds, they have become an alternative to the prevailing commercialism in the current music market.The PLODDERS – See them with your own ears!!!
