Nearly 15 years ago, Lance and Caleb Plum would meet up and play music at an abandoned well house. Today, the two cousins make up The Plums. The Plums will be one of seven bands opening for John Corabi of Motley Cru at Undercurrent in Tulsa on Oct. 11. “When I was learning to play the drums at 19, I was out there and we'd just jam together,” said Lance, the drummer, who used to play drums during practice sessions. “Of course we're cousins but we're almost like brothers we're so close. Big groups of musicians would get together and jam and I'd just sit back on the drums. Caleb and I always had chemistry.” - Bristow News

Caleb and Lance Plum grew up in the rural Oklahoma town of Bristow, a place they still call home, and where their family, and musical talent, go back generations. Some of their first childhood memories are of their own fathers (brothers, Rusty and Larry Plum) playing music together.
Although they have just recently formed The Plums, Caleb (vocals/guitar) and Lance (vocals, drums) have been playing music together for the past 15 years in a number of other bands. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Led Zepplin, the Beatles, Motley Crue, Tool, Cream, and Local H.
Currently, The Plums are working on recording their first album, which is set to be available December 4 2015. Caleb and Lance continue to play live shows on the weekends all across Oklahoma and Regoinally.
