Biography

Hailing from the Washington, D.C. area, The Plunge's grass-roots growth has been excellent. They have appeared at numerous East Coast clubs, colleges, and festivals, including shows in front of audiences of over 5,000 fans. Formed from a select group of musicians in 1997, The Plunge has been winning audiences over with their original compositions and engaging stage presence. With its dynamic mix of modern rock, pop, and alternative sound, The Plunge's first record "Take It" received airplay at several major radio stations in the DC area and reached the charts at a number of college radio stations in the U.S., Australia, and The Netherlands. After the release of their EP "Give It Back", The Plunge signed a contract with Columbia TriStar Television to produce some tracks for the show “Dawson’s Creek." The 2nd full-length release, "Won't Fall Down", features 13 rocking originals that will get your head bobbin' with the first listen. While peforming in the region, the band is also hard at work in the studio working on a new release slated for the fall of 2006. Beer

Written By: Chris Rossbach/Jeff Voivoda

It’s cold and it’s gold with a thick and foamy head
Filled up to the rim, pourin’ over the edge
Out of the keg, in the glass, or on the floor
Don’t care where it comes from, I gotta have more
I’m talking about beer
I love it so much
I think it’s a problem, I can’t get enough
I want a beer
It’s so good it’s so right
Come on and grab one, let’s party tonight
A six pack, a twelve pack, a whole damn case
Wanna keep on drinkin’ ‘till I get shit faced
If there’s more to be had, well I’m stickin’ around
Crack me another, ‘cause I love that sound
I’m talking about beer
I love it so much
I think it’s a problem, I can’t get enough
I want a beer
It’s so good it’s so right
Come on and grab one, let’s party tonight
Budweiser, Busch, maybe Michelob’s your brand
Don’t matter what the flavor is just put it in my hand
Know I can’t see straight, I like it that way
Ask me, “Can you drive?” and you’ll here me say
I want a beer
I love it so much
I think it’s a problem, I can’t get enough
I want a beer
It’s so good it’s so right
Come on and grab one, let’s party tonight

Your Friend

Written By: Chris Rossbach

I will always be your friend
And I will love you
to the end of time
We’ll swim in muddy water
And you know that I’ll be there
Pull me in from the ocean
I’ll take you in from the rain
We’re in for more bad weather coming our way
But we can make it through anything
I will always be around
So you know where I’ll be found and it’s true
That’s a big part of the game
I’ll lift you up when you’re down
Pull me in from the ocean
I’ll take you in from the rain
We’re in for more bad weather coming our way
But we can make it through anything
The wheels in motion
We decide what to do
It’ll be just fine
Gonna make this dream come true
(repeat)
I will always be your friend
And I will love you to the end of time, we’ll swim
We’ll swim in muddy water
And you know that I’ll be there
And you know that I’ll be there
I will always be your friend
I will always be your friend
Well I know, we’ll fight for so long
But we can’t go wrong, we’ll swim with this song
And I know, we’ll fight for so long, we can’t go wrong
We’ll swim with this song, we’ll swim
I will always be your friend

I'm a Freak

Written By: Words by Chris Rossbach, Music by The Plunge

I don’t care about the clothes I wear
And I don’t care too much about anything
Say what I want, wherever I can
Gets me in trouble every now and then
Sometimes I just wanna be left alone
I just wanna get drunk
I’m a freak
That’s the way I wanna be
I’m a freak, yea, that’s me
I’m a freak
That’s the way I’ll always be
I’m a freak
Maybe I just need direction in life
A simple kind of road map to help me get by
I’m so confused sometimes
I don’t know what’s right
But I do appreciate your bad advice
Sometimes I just wanna be left alone
I just wanna get drunk
I’m a freak
That’s the way I wanna be
I’m a freak, yea, that’s me
I’m a freak
That’s the way I’ll always be
I’m a freak
Do whatever I want to
And I know what that means if I wanna fit in
I’m not in with the in crowd
And I’m not too proud, I’ll sing it out loud
I’m a freak
That’s the way I wanna be
I’m a freak, yea, that’s me
I’m a freak
That’s the way I’ll always be
I’m a freak
I’m a freak
That’s the way I wanna be
I’m a freak, yea, that’s me
I’m a freak
That’s the way I’ll always be
I’m a freak
