Formed at the beginning of 2010, 'The Polysix' came together from other project's to re-discover and recreate their own soundtrack of sound's and beat's that shaped their childhood. Reared on 80's New Wave and early dance the band present a striking similarity to the sound's and TV score's of that era to which they cite their influence. "Stacked with overlaid vocalsÂ…and a fistful of attitude" - BBC Wales and armed with an ever growing collection of vintage synth's they even borrow their name from one of these, the infamous 'Korg Polysix'. Musically, their melancholic melodies and expansive sound-scape is intertwined with a more modern take on early electronica creating a "raw and powerful sound with a razor sharp edge"-Quench. Echoing the sound's and style of New Order, Depeche Mode and Gary Numan amongst other's.
