Recorded at Blueprint Studios in Manchester with Gary Hadfield. Played on UK local radio stations. Announced on National stations (BBC.)

Recorded with Paul Maddocks at Futureworks in Manchester. Recieved similar airplay.
April 2010 - For Amilia EP
Mixture of self recorded tracks. Recieved Manchester airplay.
January 2011 - Peace, Love, Soul EP.
Recorded August 2010 at Skyline Studios, NYC, with Nick Miller. Due for 6 single release commencing January 2011 to June 2011 finalised with EP release in June with DVD footage, custom artwork, vinyl, etc.

Bio
The Portlands formed in 2009 and have toured the world with their distinct brand of Folk/Rock. After sharing studio time with Elbow only three months into their formation at Blueprint Studios, they went on to play some of the most prestigious venues in the country on their first UK Tour, and finished with a 15,000 capacity crowd festival date at the end of summer 2010. Press coverage, interviews and radio play followed, including interest from Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes/co-founder of Saddlecreek Records, Omaha; and ex-Joe Satriani drummer Jonathan Mover. The summer of 2010 ended with a trip to Skyline Studios over in NYC to work with producer Nick Miller. The band laid down 10 full tracks and 10 acoustic tracks in just over 7 days, some of which partially recorded seperately in England and sent back across the Atlantic Ocean. "Peace, Love, Soul" is set to release early 2011. We are The Portlands, thank you.
