The Products of 77

Southeastern Indiana’s, Products of 77, came together as a group in North Vernon, Indiana. Their fresh sound is reminiscent of the late seventies, but with a flavor that appeals to a younger generation. This is due to a combination of their classic rock and alternative rock influences. The band came together to cover such bands as Tom Petty, John Mayer, Billy Joel, Elton John, and Jackson Brown, but soon began to write their own material which resulted in their debut CD in 2010. Their CD has been described as “melodic and upbeat” and showcases a style that appeals to people of all ages. The band consists of four members: David Ertel, keyboards/vocals, Matt Thompson, guitar/vocals, Josh Davisson, drums/vocals, and Logan Ertel, guitar/bass/vocals.
