The Quintin Marx Band is a diverse group of musicians that consists of, Grammy Nominated Bassist, Ricky Showalter, Grammy Nominated Lead Guitarist, Tommy Sanchez, both from Liquid Soul, Tony Dale, Drummer from the Chilites, Quintin Marx, on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, along with Tarinia Rice, as a backup vocalists.
The Quintin Marx Band has vast repertoire of music that includes such styles as rock and roll, southern rock, country, folk, blues, and soul. We are currently the house band at Gabes Backstage Lounge in Highwood, IL, and have been playing to sell out crowds for nearly 2 years. We have experience with outdoor festivals, including Apple Fest in Long Grove, IL, regular festival celebrations at Great Lakes Naval Base, as well as headlining at the United States Navys July 4th Celebration at Great Lakes.
The Quintin Marx Band is prepared to fit any time slot from 1 hour to an entire 3 hour concert. The five members possess a grand stage presence, and produce a fast paced, entertainment experience.
The concerts that we put on are family- friendly, and completely non-offensive, to be enjoyed by all ages.
