"The Rabies"

"...The Rabies scare me in a very good way...The Rabies are destined to bring horror rock into the mainstream much like the White Stripes did to garage..." - Procession Magazine-Kelly Davidson

"The Rabies at the Dropdead Festival"

"...this is more like it: the spirit of Drop Dead boiled up and distilled into a slug of sonic firewater...if you’re wondering which US band will be the next to give the European scene a good blasting, I think I might just have found them." - Starvox - Uncle Nemesis

****SOON TO BE UPDATED****
Be afraid of The Rabies. Be very afraid. Hailing from the underbelly of Buffalo, NY, The Rabies emerged in 2003 and have since then acquired a faithful following; all claiming to have been "infected" by this new buzz. With their concoction of new wave, punk, and in-your-face rock-n-roll, The Rabies aren't here for a campfire sing along...they're here to wake the dead.

Their first album entitled "Get Infected!!!" is currently being played across radio stations in Great Britain, Spain, France, and Australia, as well as college and internet radio stations across the US. It debuted at #21 on the most played albums list at Three D Radio 93.7 FM in Australia for the week ending on 2/9/05 and ranked at #6 on MP3.com in 2004. Their much anticipated new album entitled "Night Terror" is yet to be released and is currently seeking representation.

The Rabies have toured the East Coast and have shared the stage with such veterans as The Buzzcocks, The Dickies, Wilco, Dinah Cancer and Penis Flytrap, and The Adicts. They have also played on the main stage at the largest International horror rock music festival, Drop Dead 2, in NYC in September of 2004 and are scheduled to play on the Shira Girl stage at this years Warped Tour.

They have worked directly with Robby Takac of The Goo Goo Dolls and his Music Is Art organization, and are currently sponsored by Coffin Case custom guitar cases. In April of 2005, they proudly earned the title of "Featured Artist" at girlpunk.net.

No matter how much you dare to resist, they will infect you too...The Rabies are contagious.
