Since the formation of The Ransom in the summer of 2005, the band has gone through 6 name changes and multiple lineups, from a two piece, to a six piece, and everything in between. With our current lineup we believe we've found our place in the world. All of our influences combined, our music can be described by one simple, yet powerful word: ROCK
Jordan Harris: Vocals. With a crazy 4 octave range and an even crazier stage presence, Jordan is an ambitious front man only satisfied with sheer perfection. This sometimes leaves the other members whining, but pays off in the end. Influences drawn from every genre of music, especially classic rock.
Holly Chmidling: Lead Guitarist. Yes. She. Crazy, in-your-face guitar style that will blow you away! Often stubborn to a point of annoyance. Influenced VERY heavily by 70's guitar gods and 80's metal maniacs.
Kevin Reeve: Percussion. A.D.D to a fault, but a genius behind the drum set. Keeping the foundation of the band with his drums and his personality, Kevin started the band with our manager. Drumming style heavily influenced by 90's rock.
Ryan Howard: Bassist. An amazing talent, and the newest member of the band. Ryan gives our music an enourmous amount of extra depth. Style influenced by anything from Metallica to Parliament.
