Bio

I write and perform what comes, from raw definition industrial, electro-goth funk, always bringing electric entertainment and experience into every performance. My influences range from classics to current...mixing from Filter, NIN, Killers, Foo Fighters, Jane's Addiction, Doors, Buckley, Beatles, Lennon, and so many others... I think what each of the ones mentioned above have an edge with lyrics and composition which drive my emotions, taking me somewhere. Truthfully, music started with me in classical roots, learning classic piano as soon as my mom decided that since she didn't play piano that I should, and thought it would be good for me...(which really did much more than she knew)...I really was spell-bound when playing "Moonlight Sonata", and still do feel compelled by that piece...and while I got into Tchaikovsky, DeBussy...I then and now still get into Baroque composers, with the fluidity and complexity that they express. While all this happened...as a child...I also studied/played classical flute and became an adept quickly. Then, as I got older, like teens do, you hunger for something more or to decide that being in a marching band or orchestra wearing plaid is stupid and I got an acoustic guitar. Though my teen angst took over, which meant that I finally got into guitar seriously later on, studying the tab, playing Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and Joe Satriani's "Surfing with the Alien" album... After that, I got into poetry, which instantly led me into spoken word performance...and moved from there to perform flute on most bands, singing back-up vox...and then swam into performing poetry, singing, playing guitar, flute in a mesh of punk, blues, metal, Americana...that also included a strange selection of weird styles, when auditioning for a place to express...but found, to a great extent, that I lost what I wanted to do creatively...so went solo...creating/learning how to engineer my stuff... The one thing that was consistent was that I was composing a style that was unique, dark, and even though I had wanted to conform to what was in the present, I let the ego go and let the music do what it wanted...so after all the trama, drama and laughable experiences of life...what you hear is the industrial rock, funk electronica, trance and electro-goth, always with emotion, always driven...is the best way I can describe what I do with my music and why I stand today, as a singer, composer and musician and why when I go on stage, people feel and rock as much as I give that.
