Some of the best thing we can ever do is our show support for the cause we have in our heart. I came across the band The Reaktion and had to message them right away. I found their album Believe is Revolution enjoyable and awakening, it got cranked and for some reason did not want to stop listening to it. My music of choice is Rock and Punk styling but it does not mean I love every band within the genre, The Reaktion has gained my full attention and they will not let go. - Defined by Music
La frase ‘uno no es profeta en su tierra’ cabe de cajón al sueño americano que posee el sexteto liderado por Diego Sagredo, The Reaction, en miras al país del norte, contra puesto a la indiferencia que nuestro país y, sobre todo los medios, ignoran tamañas futuras potencias como la de los industriales sobre todo si se encuentran en la posición numero uno en Sign Me To Roadrunner (competencia para firmar por el sello independiente más grande del mundo). Canadian band The ReAktion recently dropped us a line about some of their tracks on their Soundcloud page, to see what we thought of things. Formed in 2010 at the end of some personal and musical phases of its members, the band has got an open approach to the world, developing their sound with a level of complexity and showing that sometimes, just sometimes, the world needs to fully hear a band to understand what they’re about. Still continuing to push their musical boundaries and get their name out there, the band said to check out what they had on offer, so we figured we’d hit play to see what was going on for the purpose of the review. - Loud-Stuff

The ReAktion begins as a band in 2010 with the end of several personal and musical phases of its members. A period of changes and decisive situations would take the members to leave behind their former projects, clean the canvas and start from scratch. But as a concept, The ReAktion began long before, growing within all of them as an expression that needed a means to come out to the light. A concept that integrates a view of the world, a perspective of how to understand music and a way to face a new world stage for bands with much to offer.
From the beginning self-production, independence and an open approach to the world are part of the whole work of the band, as a reflection of the ideals and perceptions of reality of its members. An increasingly complex world stage that requires active entities to change things, with global awareness and a strong connection with those around them is the reality that drives The ReAktion.
Throughout the year 2011 the band creates “Be(lie)ve in R(evol)ution”, their first album, which was generated through a completely independent process, with the band not only behind the composition, recording, editing and mastering of the album, but also behind its artwork, audiovisual material and distribution. This way they achieved a 14 track high standard record that reflects the inner journey of those who are awaking to the new order of things, those who realize that the world we live in is just a mock-up of what happens in reality and decide to break the silence putting an end to the lies. It is an invitation to join the collective consciousness that every day becomes more evident, an invisible network of minds that think things over about the system they are part of.
The band is currently looking for new ways to deliver its music and message through live shows, online contents, and general media, and is working closely with other bands and institutions that share the same principles and ideas all around the world.

The ReAktion comienza como banda en el 2010 con el fin de varias etapas personales y musicales de sus integrantes. Un periodo de cambios y situaciones decisivas llevarían a los miembros a dejar atrás proyectos anteriores, limpiar el lienzo y partir desde cero. Pero como concepto, The ReAktion empieza mucho antes, creciendo dentro de cada uno en forma de una expresión que necesitaba de un medio para salir a la luz. Un concepto que integra la forma de ver este mundo, la perspectiva desde donde entender la música y la manera de enfrentar el nuevo escenario mundial para las bandas con mucho que entregar.
Desde un principio buscan que la autogestión, la independencia y un enfoque abierto al mundo entero formen parte de todo el trabajo de la banda, como un reflejo de los ideales y percepciones de la realidad de sus miembros. Un escenario mundial cada vez mas complejo que requiere de entes activos para cambiar las cosas, con conciencia global y con una fuerte conexión con los que los rodean es la realidad que impulsa a The ReAktion.
A lo largo del año 2011 la banda crea "Be(lie)ve in R(evol)ution", su primer álbum, el cual fue realizado a través de un proceso completamente independiente, estando la banda no solo tras la composición, grabación, edición y masterización del álbum, sino que también de la realización del arte, el material audiovisual y la difusión del mismo. De esta forma logran un disco de alta factura, de 14 temas, que refleja el viaje interior de aquellos que están despertando a un nuevo orden de cosas, aquellos que se dan cuenta de que el mundo en el que viven es solo una maqueta de lo que pasa en realidad, y deciden romper el silencio terminando con las mentiras. Es una invitación a formar parte de la conciencia colectiva que cada día se hace mas evidente, una red invisible de voluntades que buscan darle la vuelta al sistema del que son parte.
La banda está actualmente buscando nuevas maneras de entregar su música y mensaje a través de espectáculos en vivo, contenido online, y medios de comunicación en general, y está trabajando estrechamente con bandas e instituciones de todo el mundo que comparten los mismos principios e ideas.
