Zakariyya “Bumpy Johnson” Amin, entered into the world of music in the early nineties but he really didn't take a strong hold of it until the mid nineties, starting a group with his cousin James "Soprano" Rice. While in this group Bumpy grew another passion, producing. Watching his producer make beats from scratch (no samples) Bumpy learned how to craft beats. As time progressed Bumpy and his other cousin Hakeem "Haz" Dolphin grew a love for the business side of music and decided to start a label, “Real Records”, with a third partner Jerome "Maoz" Morris. As the main producer and an artist, Bumpy cultivated and crafted his label mates making them the best at what they do. To date Bumpy has circulating on the streets and the internet his mix CD "Definition of a Hustler: The Mix movement" as well as his hood banger "Get By", a video, an upcoming unofficial full album release and another full album which is being prepared for industry release and a whole host of production credits for upcoming artist outside his camp Bumpy's got it all in the bag. "All I want to do is make great music for the world."
